After more than two seasons of extraordinary weather, part of my garden flowering plants is lost, some were reduced to mere subsistence aside from a few which continued to thrive vigorously……..

Portuguese Squill* -  地中海藍鐘花 (below)

不記得這花在那兒買的約七八年前吧？原先擺室內 ，花謝葉凋後置於車房三兩年後才移到園中一角。沒料竟在這兩三年疫情和極端氣候夾攻之下活了下來，生命力之奇妙！

* Scilla peruviana, the Portuguese squill, is a species of Scilla native to the western Mediterranean region in Iberia, Italy, and northwest Africa. It is a bulb-bearing herbaceous perennial plant. The bulb is 6–8 cm in diameter, white with a covering of brown scales. Wikipedia

White azalea 杜鵑花 

a lone survivor of its variety in my garden 

小園一路走來折損了不少花樹，十多年前栽植的一批不同品種杜鵑，如今僅存這一株白杜鵑碩果僅存，它卻趕在其他春花前頭，枝頭上掛滿雪白晶瑩花朶來迎春！

Calla lily 馬蹄蘭

這兩簇白色馬蹄蘭種在後院荒地，也有好幾季不見蹤影 

今年雨水充沛給了它再生的機會

開出好些潔白無瑕的花朶

初春花朶綻放不同顏色包括紅粉藍白紫
