A walk by the lake

Water fowls enjoy the small lake in the park 

公園中的小湖是水禽的樂園

Canadian Geese are the usual suspects in the park. They’ve been living here for many seasons and forgot their homes in the north 

There’s another species of bird* in  their midst 

一群樂不思蜀的大雁 搖搖擺擺穿行於湖邊草地

注意到了嗎？這𥚃頭有好幾隻不同的禽類*

知道牠們的名字嗎？（* answer at the bottom of the page)

Several cormorants were tied up with tiny ropes and left on the wooden sampan 

Were they being fed or need to fish on their own?

還有幾隻鱸鷀，繩索繫於漂浮湖中舢舨上，不知有沒有人餵養？或是得自己下水捕魚？

還有人類夾雜其間呢！

And yet another species here!

Humans playing some type of card games 

他們好像在打牌或是玩某種紙上遊戲

Or simply sit around and enjoy the scenery 

也有閒人坐公園靠椅上靜觀湖景

觀察瀲灔湖水和天空雲彩時時刻刻的變化 

岸邊樹木映在在波光中的倒影

    一身絨毛的小狗，像個玩具娃娃

牠也來遊湖嗎？

主人抱在身上恰似

罩著一件保暖的毛毯
