春天來了嗎？

Is Spring here already?

深冬之際突然迸出幾天小陽春天候，迫不及待驅車四處環繞，遠近山頭不過一兩週前尚呈灰黃色，如今觸目一片綠意盎然

Mountain ranges and nearby hills were still grey/yellowish two weeks earlier.  Daytime weather turned warm and sunny with hills gradually turning green as days go by

近郊牧場及公園正是好去處
The farm ranches with green pasture appeal not only to people locked in by cold weather for weeks, now venturing out for sunshine and warm weather,  just like their counterparts in the wilderness

Deer herd gathered at the nearby golf course with greener pasture to graze on

 公園中有湖、有山 及水禽數種

In the park clusters of small white flowers dotted the green meadows near the lake

午後

繞湖一周

湖邊垂柳只餘光枝柳條 

夕陽下  湖光瀲豔  水波不興

The afternoon sun was falling slowly behind the mountains beyond the lake where a willow stripped off its willowy leaves stood alone in the foreground of a mirror like lake

Canadian geese wandering around in green grass patches 

                                                                                         

Series of winter storms since the beginning of the new year have wreaked havoc to people, yet what a pastoral scene we have here!

And another piece of good news:

“After three years of severe drought, water supplies are boosted and reservoirs are filling……..”
