湖濱三度遊

We love to frequent this neighborhood park once in a while 

In the early afternoon hours of a breezy sunny day 

walking around the lake on weekdays

you don’t often bump into people

社區的小公園中有山有湖 

晴朗的午後清風徐來

週日造訪遊人不多

It’s in the second part of autumn, nearly a year from my last visit

The park’s trail meanders around a small lake 

bordering by lines of pepper trees on both sides

走在一排夾道胡椒樹蔭下

秋風送爽暖日和熙

The sun sifted through the tree leaves 

陽光從道旁樹蔭中流洩

In the background of the lake view is Mount Umunhum *

背景中遠山峯頂是加州 Santa Cruise 高峯之一

這座山名為 Mt. Umunhum

（Meaning the resting place of hummingbirds）

*Mount Umunhum is a peak in the Santa Cruz Mountains, located in Santa Clara County, California. It is the fourth-highest peak in the Santa Cruz Mountains, after Loma Prieta, Crystal Peak, and Mt. Chual. Most of the mountain is located within the Sierra Azul Open Space Preserve. Wikipedia

Waterfowls and ducks found themselves a perfect spot to rest

水鳥鴨群聚在樹底草坪休憩

A pair of wild ducks 

湖畔一對野鴨

A fisherman looking for a good spot 

to cast his fishing bait

釣客正繞湖尋找適當地點下餌

A white dog leading its lady master in the trail walkway 

步道上一條小白狗停下腳步

讓我拍了張小相

A black dog walked toward us on the bridge

步道走到尾端有一段路橋

前頭來了一人一狗

Master of the dog didn’t mind his dog be a model for my photo

黑狗的主人不在意他漂亮的狗兒留下倩影

圍著鐵欄桿的橋身

上下各一

石橋為單向走道

行人走犬優先單車亦可通行 

The railing fenced bridge is a two way bridge 

People and their dogs can walk together without bumping into other hikers 

Bikers are also allowed to share the bridge as long as they don’t go in the wrong ways

橋下湖水

波瀾蕩漾

Water rippled under the bridge in the breezes 

w/reflections woven into a beautiful picture
