Two turtles were on a rock in a small stream

Mommy turtle swam away, wouldn’t the little one follow?

Turkey family’s outing 

in search of a greener prairie 

Pair of song birds 白頭翁 ?(L)  and a young bird (R) on the same mango tree months later

Mother deer and a young fawn 

outside the fence  

The baby deer was about 3-4 months old 

still remembered it being the first 

baby deer born in my backyard

The time was in 2007

California quails*

*California Quail : These birds forage on the ground, often scratching at the soil. They can sometimes be seen feeding at the sides of roads. Their diet consists mainly of seeds and leaves, but they also eat some berries and insects; for example, Toyonberries are a common food source.^[4] If startled, these birds explode into short rapid flight, called "flushing".
