Wild animals do cross paths with human
at times, yet when they are little, they
still need care and milk from their mothers

This baby deer was born in a backyard
mother returned to nurse at nighttime
until baby was strong enough to jump over the fence and
leave on its own

Right next to a city street we saw this
little puppy wandering around with no leash on.  It’s might be that
restraining an animal
in China at the time was not required.
It appeared to be a pet

At the Farmer’s Market

meat stand vendor brought in a visitor

His companion was a 3 weeks old puppy*

managed to gather a small crowd

to take a good look at this cute animal

“Which part of the hog has the best meat?”

“This one looks good ! “                        “Oh no,  it’s too heavy! “

In a small farm

two piglets, one black
the other with a pink nose
and two young billy goat kids

they all shared each other’s food
