Wild animals do cross paths with human
at times, yet when they are little, they
still need care and milk from their mothers
This baby deer was born in a backyard
mother returned to nurse at nighttime
until baby was strong enough to jump over the fence and
leave on its own

A junior brown bear when we spotted it
under a small cross bridge in Alaska
while on an excursion into inland territory
We’ve been warned against getting too close
lest mother bear should be near by

Right next to a city street we saw this
little puppy wandering around with no leash on. It’s might be that
restraining an animal
in China at the time was not required.
It appeared to be a pet

At the Farmer’s Market
meat stand vendor brought in a visitor
His companion was a 3 weeks old puppy*
managed to gather a small crowd
to take a good look at this cute animal
“Which part of the hog has the best meat?”
“This one looks good ! “ “Oh no, it’s too heavy! “
In a small farm
chicken, hens and pigs mingled
two piglets, one black
the other with a pink nose
and two young billy goat kids
they all shared each other’s food
