Overview of the wildlife overpopulation
In the fringe of metropolitan areas of many places*
居家依傍著山區
後院短籬外一片青綠草地
經常有鹿群經過
牠們是草食性動物成日不停的覓食
這一帶少有天敵鹿隻們以倍數成長
成日可見其芳蹤

Herds of deer coming to my backyard
as well as my neighborhood.
鹿群逐草而來
途經此地總愛進來尋些美食
剛冒出的嫩芽，花朶如玫瑰是牠們的最愛
原先有個小花園，先被地鼠掘根
鹿來之後索性鏟除整個花園

這是一對母子鹿
一般來說小鹿跟在媽媽身邊吃奶
一直到一歲左右
待鹿媽媽懷了下一胎
小鹿就得準備自力更生

Mother deer left it inside the fence and took leave
came back each day to nurse the baby and left again for days until the fawn is strong enough to jump over the fence and leave on its own
小鹿出生後院中
首張玉照拍攝約出生兩三日後
鹿媽媽將院子當成托兒所
餵完奶就離去次日才返回
如此數日直到我們旅遊歸來
方不見其蹤跡

提醒過路車客小心開車

母子鹿道上逆行
車輛閃到一旁
Two fawns came taking naps
During daytime hours, neither bothered by
our attempts to take pictures of them !
一歲左右的兩隻小鹿
自行在後院乾枯的草坪上晝寢
旁若無人，拿出手機
拍照時兩鹿一動也不動！
